7.1.2020 Update

* The pool will open on July 3 if Virginia moves into Phase III on July 1 as planned. If the move to Phase III is delayed, the pool opening will be delayed.

We are excited to open the pool!!! However, the Virginia Phase III Guidelines make pool usage more restrictive than a normal summer.

To remain in compliance with the Virginia Safer at Home: Phase III Guidelines, in addition to our normal pool rules, the Association has incorporated the following rules on capacity, social distancing and cleaning.

To comply with state and county regulations, we ask that you familiarize yourself with these COVID-19 related rules in addition to our normal Pool Rules.

The Association will continue to monitor State and County guidance and will adjust these rules as necessary.

Pool Management, Lifeguards, HOA staff, and FRRA Board members retain the right to ask anyone to leave who is not following these rules.  Pool users not following the rules may lose their pool access privileges.

It is important that these rules are followed to ensure the safety of all so that the pool can remain open.

Documents containing these Special Rules, our normal Pool Rules, and the Covid-19 Questionnaire are available on our Documents Page under COVID-19 Documents.

2020 DECALS.

Two 2020 Decals were distributed to each unit in good standing in the April pool mailer. Additional decals have not yet been distributed due to the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis. During the first week that the pool is open (from July 3 through July 9), pool users will be admitted to the pool facility if at least one pool pass with the same address has a 2020 decal - for example, if household has five passes but only two passes have 2020 decals, all users from the household will be admitted to the pool even though three passes have 2019 decals. However, a pass bearing a 2020 decal must be shown to the desk attendant upon entry for all household members.

Starting on July 10, ALL pool passes must have a 2020 decal or the pool user will NOT be admitted to the pool!

Additional decals can be obtained from Cardinal Management's office by appointment. Cardinal's office is located at 3704 Golf Trail Lane, Fairfax, VA 22033. (703) 591-1818. Please note that Cardinal's office will be closed on Friday, July 3.

Plexiglass. The Association will be installing plexiglass at the desk in the pool building lobby area. Unfortunately, the plexiglass will not be installed yet for our July 3 opening. An additional barrier to maintain social distancing will be in place until the plexiglass is installed.

Restrooms & Showers. The Association will be closing off one toilet stall and one shower stall in each restroom to facilitate social distancing requirements. While the restrooms will be open, the Association encourages you to use the restrooms and showers at home to limit touch points. The restrooms will be stocked with soap and hand sanitizer for pool users.

COVID-19 Questionnaire. All pool users (or household group of users) will be required to submit a COVID-19 questionnaire on every day they use the pool. You will not be admitted to the pool without turning in the questionnaire. The questionnaire will be available on the Documents page of this website. The Association encourages pool users to print out the questionnaire before coming to the pool, however, copies will be available at the pool.

Water Fountain. The water fountain will be available for pool users but in order to minimize touch points, we suggest that you bring bottled water to stay hydrated.
