Community Activities

*** NOTICE ***

Dear Fair Ridge Recreation Residents:

Based upon the recent changes by Governor Northam regarding COVID-19, the Board of Directors has voted to remove MOST of the announced restrictions for the community pool operations, effective Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Pool operations will return to “normal” with a few caveats for 2021. Here’s what you need to know:

·       Unvaccinated members must follow CDC guidance related to mask wearing and social distancing. Signage will be posted to remind everyone of this and compliance will be on the honor system. We strongly encourage mask wearing for all members when entering and exiting the building.

·       Guests will not be permitted.

·       Parties will not be permitted.

·       Pool furniture will be placed on the deck.

·       Hours will be as follows:

o   Sunday – Thursday 11AM – 8PM

o   Friday and Saturday 11AM – 9PM

o   4th of July and Labor Day 11AM – 7PM

*Frequent cleanings have been lifted and will revert back to one time per day before opening

·       Each pool user with a card must sign in using the logbook (complete each section), turn in the card to the guard upon entry and retrieve upon exit.

·       COVID Facility Use Forms will no longer be needed; however, check boxes have been added to the sign-in log.

Please note that operations are still subject to change based upon any future updates to the Governor’s restrictions. We thank you for your continued patience as we work through this.

The FRRA and Community Association funded an initiative to install "Little Free Libraries" throughout the community.  A total of four (4) Little Free Libraries will be installed and initially stock with books.  We look to the community to continue the sharing of books and take advantage of these free books and support the mission and values of the Little Free Library organization.

The locations of the Little Free Libraries are:

1. By the playground on Sleepy Lake Court
2. By the message board on Fair Ridge Drive
3. By the Fair Ridge sign at the Pool
4. By the message board at the tennis courts

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Fair Ridge Recreation Association Clubhouse is now CLOSED to all activities (including rentals) until further notice.
