A message from one of our Sister Associations, the FRCA, worth passing on to the rest of the Fair Ridge Community. As the vacation season fast approaches and you are leaving town, it is suggested you stop any deliveries to include newspapers, boxes, or other items that might be placed in front of your residence. You may want ask a neighbor to retrieve any items that indicate you are not at home and leave a contact number should any issues arrive. Finally, we recommend that you follow the adage “if you see something, say something”. If you see something suspicious, do not hesitate to contact the Fairfax County Police (703) 691-2131. Let the police investigate and hopefully this will stem the tide of petty thefts and vandalism that plague most suburbs before something more egregious happens. |
